A Settings menu item available on the ISM Import dialog menu bar (Settings > Joist Settings) opens the Joist Settings dialog which is used to set the imported joist’s detailed members DataGroup type and instance data. This ensures fully detailed joists contain the necessary Structural Data required for model continuity during the design of structures in which they are applied and for additional data exchanges between Bentley Structural Synchronizer and OpenBuildings Station Designer.
